Before the days of modern science, of industrial progress, of our comfortable homes, life was full of mystery and intrigue. The unexplainable was everywhere.

This is one of those strange tales, one of those adventure stories, about two men whose paths crossed, and in doing so would change the lives of many people forever.  One man was called Bal Cari. You know the kind; ambitious and so full of himself. 

The other one had many strange mystical powers.  Perhaps immortality? He was known only as “The Beast”.

And the girl, Anisha.  She’s in love.  A story wouldn’t be complete, or at least as complicated without a little romance to keep us on our toes. The stakes are high.
